Terms & Warranty Agreement

1. Introduction & Scope

These terms govern the acquisition, restoration consultation, and supply of authentic restored electro-mechanical amusement machines, arcade cabinets, pinball tables, and OEM components provided by Fruit Machine Salvage Ltd, situated at 10 South Parade, Leeds, LS1 5QS, United Kingdom ("the Company").

By placing an order consultation request or purchasing equipment through our Leeds workshop, you acknowledge and agree to the policies set forth below.

2. Domestic Recreation & Collector Classification

All machines and coin-op equipment supplied by the Company are vintage commercial-grade units salvaged and restored exclusively for private domestic entertainment, home games room collections, museums, and historical exhibition use.

Machines are configured to operate on custom souvenir brass tokens or integrated free-play buttons. The Company strictly does not configure, license, or supply equipment for public commercial wager activities. Ownership for private home entertainment in the United Kingdom is fully legal for adult collectors aged 18 and older.

3. Equipment Order Consultation Process

To safeguard collector satisfaction and eliminate delivery surprises, our website operates an order consultation system rather than automated online card debiting.

• When you submit an equipment enquiry via our digital cart drawer, a provisional reservation is placed on the cabinet for up to 48 hours.
• A Leeds logistics manager reviews your delivery postcode, checks doorway and stairway dimensions with you, and provides an itemised formal invoice.
• Payment is executed via verified UK bank transfer or card upon workshop collection.

4. 12-Month Comprehensive Collector Warranty

Every restored cabinet supplied by Fruit Machine Salvage Ltd is backed by our 12-Month Comprehensive Mechanical & Electrical Warranty, covering:

• Electro-Mechanical Components: Stepper motors, optical sensors, reel baskets, flipper assemblies, and solenoids.
• Electronic Sub-Assemblies: Power supply units, audio amplifiers, transformer windings, and MPU logic circuitry.
• Illumination: Installed premium low-heat diffused LED modules and power ballasts.

Warranty Exclusions: This warranty does not cover damages resulting from liquid ingress, domestic electrical surges, dropped cabinets, unauthorized circuit modifications, or use outdoors.

5. UK Nationwide White-Glove Transit & In-Room Setup

Because commercial cabinets weigh between 85 kg and 145 kg, standard freight couriers cannot provide appropriate care. The Company arranges specialised two-person White-Glove transit:

• Transport is quoted separately based on UK destination postcode and building access profile.
• Our transit crew brings the equipment through ground floor doorways and positions it directly into your preferred room.
• Clients must ensure doorway clearances of at least 70 cm. Stair navigation must be declared during the consultation call to ensure appropriate lifting equipment is dispatched.

6. 14-Day Collector Return & Inspection Privilege

We wish every customer to be thoroughly delighted with their acquired equipment. If you determine within 14 days of delivery that the machine does not satisfy your expectations, you may return the equipment subject to the following:

• The machine must remain in the exact condition in which it was received, complete with all keys, brass tokens, and certificates.
• The client covers the direct White-Glove return transit cost back to our Leeds workshop.
• Upon workshop inspection, a full refund of the equipment purchase price is issued within 3 business days.

7. Technical Support & Lifetime Parts Supply

Beyond the formal warranty term, Fruit Machine Salvage maintains an expansive Yorkshire warehouse of vintage salvage components. Our clients enjoy ongoing access to bench diagnostic guidance, replacement stepper parts, and technical schematics for as long as they maintain their equipment.
